Faithful supporters responded to FreedomWorks' vision to provide housing and support services for former prisoners. FreedomWorks successfully closed on a property located at 3559 Penn Avenue in North Minneapolis.

The Welcome Back Center, located on the lower level, is a safe, stable environment where men are supported as they tackle reentry issues unique to former prisoners.  FreedomWorks helps the men develop a plan to find employment, participate in discipleship classes, reconnect with family, learn financial responsibility, and become productive citizens.

The Freedom House, located on the upper level, provides housing for 8 men. These former prisoners are primarily men who have completed the in-prison phase of the InnerChange Freedom Initiative (IFI), Prison Fellowship’s 18-month, faith-based program operating inside Lino Lakes prison. Serving with IFI, FreedomWorks’ staff and volunteers use this place to assist these newly released men who are seeking accountability as they learn and refine life skills.
